Miami is one of the largest cities in the world. The sights are many along the Intracoastal waterway. There are skyscrapers, mega yachts, sandbars, skimpy bikinis, extravagant waterfront shopping areas, lush marinas and more. Miami has an equal amount of Intracoastal waterway area that Fort Lauderdale has. It has beautiful sandbars with bright clear waters that are great for sandbar parties. Miami is filled with famous people, millionaire’s and movie stars. For Miami trips, an 8 hour trip is a must, so that you have some time to do some stuff after the cruise down the Intracoastal to get there.

Take Your Boat: To Miami!
In Miami, the highlights are:
Monument Island is a great little island to pull the rental boat up to and have a picnic or party with some music going.
- Star island is where the movie stars live. See where Brad Pitt, Madona, Sylvester Stallone, Will Smith, Don Johnson, Gloria Estefan and more live right along that stretch of million dollar houses in Miami.
- Pier 5 is shopping and restaurants that are located right on the Intracoastal. If shopping is your thing, rent a boat and head to Pier 5. You can buy anything from upscale garments, bags and accessories, up to jewelry, electronics, cars, boats and toys.
- Miami River is a lot like the New River of Fort Lauderdale. It’s a great area of the Intracoastal where you can see a lot of older houses and historical houses of Miami.
